UIndy struck first in game one, plating one run in the top of the second inning. Jessica Breeden started the inning off with a walk, and Che' Hanebrink followed suit with a walk of her own. Lauren Edwards followed with a single up the middle to load the bases, and Krysta Bradford hit an RBI bloop single over the shortstop to score Breeden.

DeVyn Barker led off the UIndy third with a bunt single to the third base side. She came all the way around from first to score on an RBI double to the right field fence by Dakota Malayer two batters later. Malayer scored on a single behind the shortstop by Edwards to push the UIndy lead to 3-0.

The Chargers took the lead in the sixth, plating four runs on three hits and a Greyhound error. A one-out double to left center, followed by a fielding error at shortstop and a double down the leftfield line scored the first UAH run. A pinch-hit homerun to right center with two onbase accounted for the rest of the inning's output.

The Greyhounds were unable to answer in the seventh, and suffered their first defeat of the season, 4-3 to the Chargers. Jennifer DeMotte took the loss in the circle, while Edwards went 2-for-2 on the day at the plate.

The Greyhounds were again first to score in game two, putting one run on the scoreboard in the top of the first. Jamie Keltz started things off with a single down the leftfield line, followed by a steal of second. Keltz came in to score on an error by the Charger pitcher on a sacrifice bunt attempt by Barker.

UIndy added two more in the top of the third, with Keltz again starting the action. The Greyhound senior doubled to right center, and moved to third when Barker reached on a fielding error by the Charger shortstop. A single to right by DeMotte scored both Keltz and Barker, putting UIndy ahead 3-0.

Neither team could push a run across in the seventh or eighth innings, and the game had to be called due to darkness after the eighth, leaving the score tied 3-3.
