INDIANAPOLIS-  The UIndy baseball team (6-0) completed the series sweep of Hillsdale Sunday with a 8-5 win at Greyhound Park.  Senior Aryn Ross (pictured) paced the team with three runs driven in.

Ross smacked his 42nd career double in the fifth inning, putting him just three shy of setting a new program record.  The extra-base hit drove in two runs to make 4-1 Hounds.

UIndy tacked on four more in eighth, highlighted by a two-run single from Scott Lawley.  The late tallies proved to be necessary after Hillsdale (2-8) plated four runs in the ninth.

Meanwhile, starting pitcher Clint Seefeldt recorded his longest outing as a Greyhound, working seven-and-two-thirds innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out five.

Senior Kaleb Cunningham had two hits on the afternoon to up his team-leading batting average to .636.  Junior Matt Maringer scored two runs.

The Greyhounds head south for spring break this afternoon.  The club plays three games in three days, starting with Arkansas-Fort Smith tomorrow at 5 PM.
