Women's tennis takes down St. Michael's to conclude Spring Break

ORLANDO --
The University of Indianapolis women's tennis team completed its Spring Break trip by defeating St. Michael's, 7-2, on Friday afternoon.

The Greyhounds (6-3) finished the trip by splitting its four matches with the win over the Purple Knights (8-2) on the final day.

The Greyhounds won only one doubles match with Katie Jackson and Sarah Mastison winning 8-2 at No. 3. UIndy then came out and won all six singles matches.

Alena Perez-Majul won 4-6, 6-0, 1-0 (5) in the only three-set encounter at No. 1. Maggie Ashby at No. 2, Meghan Teunis at No. 3, Kelsey Hartman at No. 4, Kim Wasielewski at No. 5 and Rachel Barger at No. 6 rounded out the scoring.

The Greyhounds return to Indianapolis to play Northern Kentucky on March 26 for the beginning of Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
