The Thorobreds (0-20) jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, tagging starter
Patrick Kraft for two runs in the first and one in the second. However, the Hounds answered with a six spot in the bottom of the second and didn't look back.
Ryan Wides and
Kaleb Cunningham, UIndy's one and two-hole hitters, combined for four hits and five RBIs.
Junior pitcher
Tyler Norton took the mound at the start of the third and went two innings to earn the relief win. The Olney Central transfer struck out five and didn't allow a hit.

Chad Moore and
Jake Baer pitched a combined shutout in game two. Moore went five innings and allowed one hit – an infield single. He walked two and fanned four on the way to garnering the winning decision.
Offensively, the Greyhounds scored in four of the first five innings, including hanging five runs on the board in the fifth. Catcher
Kyler Mason starred for the Hounds in game two, stroking two extra-base hits, including a two-run homer in the second, his first as a collegian.
UIndy returns to conference play this weekend when it travels to Lewis University for a four-game series. Doubleheaders on both Saturday and Sunday are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. EDT
