Cori Eckerle.
The Greyhounds took the lead with a pair of runs in the fifth, starting things with a
Kelsey Rummel triple. Rummel came home on a single up the middle by
Jamie Keltz a batter later. Keltz came around to score on a sacrifice fly by DeMotte, running the score to 3-1 in UIndy's favor.

Both runners moved up on a sacrifice bunt by DeMotte, and Keltz scored on a ground-out to shortstop by

The two first-inning runs would stand as the lone scores in the game, giving UIndy the 2-0 win.
Lauren Edwards (6-2) earned the shutout win, striking out three along the way.
Next up for the Greyhounds is a mid-week matchup with non-conference Hillsdale. UIndy hosts Urbana Saturday for another non-league doubleheader, and jumps back into GLVC play Sunday with a DH with Northern Kentucky.
