The Greyhounds hung nine runs on KSU (4-30) in game two, with two hits each coming from
Kaleb Cunningham and
Nate Koontz.
Lawley recorded a hit in the capper as well, pushing his hitting streak to double digits. At 10 games, the streak matches a team season high set by Cunningham earlier this year. Lawley is 18-for-36 from the plate during his hot streak and has managed to up his batting average 100 points since April 2.
Meanwhile, redshirt-freshman
Eli Linder made his first career start, tossing four innings to pick up the win in the seven-inning affair. Linder fanned eight batters while surrendering two hits and one run.
Tuesday's two non-conference, in-region wins made it four in a row for the Greyhounds. They put their win streak on the line this weekend with a four-game series at Bellarmine Saturday and Sunday. All 18 of UIndy's remaining GLVC games are against East-Division foes.
