GEORGETOWN, Ky.-  Thanks to a round-two team score of +5 Sunday, the 15th-ranked UIndy men's golf team shared fourth place at the massive 25-team Jewell Tournament at Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown, Ky.

Hosted by Northern Kentucky University, the event was held at the site of this year's NCAA Super Regional, coming early next month.

UIndy (306-293) jumped up three spots on the second day to tie for fourth place and best all but three Midwest Region schools.  Missouri-St. Louis (300-288) came out on top, thanks to an even par score in round two.

Two Greyhounds finished in the top 20, including freshman Max Bowling (77-71).  Bowling fired a one-under 71 Sunday to share 14th place among the event's 125 competitors.

Just one shot back of Bowling was junior Aaron Monson (77-72), who tied for 17th.  Senior Blair Webb (76-75) shared 34th place, freshman Jacob Yocum (76-77) tied for 46th, while freshman David Frank (81-75) tied for 64th.

Drury's Thomas Hay (73-70) topped the field by a single stroke with a 36-hole score of -1.

The Hounds host the year's fourth regional next week.  The annual tournament, held at Purgatory Golf Course in Noblesville, Ind., takes place Sunday and Monday, Apr. 10-11.
