NFCA Division II All-Academic Teams

STARKVILLE, Miss.- The 2010-11 Greyhound softball team placed 14th on the NFCA's Division II All-Academic teams listing, released by the Association Thursday.

UIndy posted a team GPA of 3.385 to take the No. 14 spot. The Greyhounds were second to only Southern Indiana, which posted a GPA of 3.400, in representing the GLVC on the list.

The NFCA Academic Awards program honors both collegiate and high school teams for their submitted GPAs for the 2010-2011 academic year. As a second component of the program, all submitted student-athletes who achieved a 3.50 GPA during last academic year are named as a NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete. The individual honorees will be announced on Wednesday, October 5 on NFCA.org.

Central Missouri took the top spot on the list with a GPA of 3.522. Lynn came in second with a 3.526, with Texas Woman's rounding out the top three with a 3.502.
