INDIANAPOLIS- The UIndy wrestling squad took a  24-12 loss to Findlay in its final dual meet of the season at Nicoson Hall Saturday.

The visiting Roughnecks took a 3-0 lead with a hard-fought 4-3 win in tiebreaker three at 125 to open the match. Ethan Harris gave UIndy three team points in the next bout with a 12-6 win, with Justin Kieffer following with an 8-4 victory in the 141 match to push the Greyhounds ahead of Findlay, 6-3.

Findlay's Jeremy Espinoza took a 6-4 win over David Lopez in the 149 matchup to re-tie the score at 6-6, but a 3-2 decision from Austin Chamberlain in the 157 bout put UIndy back up 9-6.

The Greyhounds regained the lead in the 165 bout, with Jeff Weiss taking a 5-3 decision over the Roughneck's Mason True. Findlay's Michael Lybarger pinned UIndy's Dustin Parrish in the 174 match in 5:26 to tie the score for the third time, at 12-12.

A pin in 1:24 from Findlay's Adam Walters gave the visitors an 18-12 lead, and a 5-0 win by the Roughnecks' Ashton Brown at 197 pushed the Findlay lead to 21-12.

The Findlay dual was the final action the Greyhounds will see prior to the NCAA Regional tournament, Feb. 24-27 in St. Cloud, Minn.

NOTES: Prior to the meet, the Greyhounds recognized four senior wrestlers, Matt Clark, Ethan Harris, Blake Harvey and David Lopez, as well as two senior athletic trainers, Sara Bevers and Jessica Royalty.
