WINTER HAVEN, Fla.-   The UIndy baseball team (3-2) had a rough go Sunday, as the Greyhounds dropped an 8-1 decision to in-region Ohio Dominican on day three of the Russmatt Central Florida Invite.  UIndy fell behind seven runs after five innings, then had its comeback hopes washed out after rain caused the cessation of play before the teams could complete the sixth.

Errors hampered the Greyhounds' efforts against the Panthers (4-2), as four miscues led to a total of five unearned runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings.  Four of the unearned tallies were charged to starter Clint Seefeldt (0-1), who lasted three and two thirds while surrendering eight hits and zero walks.

The Hounds' lone run came in the third frame when catcher Nick Whitty reached on a leadoff single and came around to score on a Matt Maringer knock.

Both Whitty and Marigner had two base hits on the day, while right fielder Adam Rusche earned the teams' only other hit.

UIndy heads to Hensley Field in nearby Lakeland, Fla., tomorrow for a twin bill versus West Chester.  First pitch is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Eastern.
