SOMERS, Wis.- A pair of records fell in the Greyhounds' sweep of UW-Parkside, with the 2012 UIndy team establishing a new single-season wins record, while Jennifer DeMotte etched a new mark for career pitching victories with two wins in the circle.

#2 UIndy 4, UW-Parkside 0
UIndy softball (41-2; 25-1 GLVC) set a new single-season win record as DeMotte pulled off her 26th win of the season. DeMotte set the tone for UIndy's record-setting day with the win in the circle and an RBI at the plate.

In the fourth inning, Casey Williamson pushed across the second run of the game with a single up the middle. DeMotte solidified the win by getting the job done with a fielder's choice to the Ranger second-basemen, pushing across the third Greyhound run of the day.

Audrey Ernst picked up DeMotte with the three inning save to finish the contest. Ernst and DeMotte gave up a stingy two hits while earning a combined shut-out on the day. Sydney Russell pushed a run across on her 2-3 day, while Casey Williamson led the Greyhounds going 3-4 at the plate with an RBI in the game one win.

#2 UIndy 2, UW-Parkside 0
The Greyhounds plated both of their runs in the top of the fifth inning, with Alexa Alfaro homering to left center to provide the first UIndy run. A Taylor Russell single to shortstop scored Sydney Russell, who reached on a bunt single, to put up the second Greyhound score.

Taylor Russell led the offense in game two with a 2-for-4 showing at the plate with an RBI.

DeMotte (27-2) picked up her second win of the day in no-hitting the Rangers in the complete game shutout in game two. The UIndy junior struck out eight in the shutout, and officially took over the Greyhound career wins record with her 63rd victory in a UIndy uniform.

The Greyhounds head to Lewis for another GLVC doubleheader Sunday. First pitch is slated for 1:00 p.m. EST.
