INDIANAPOLIS – For the third straight week, the UIndy men's basketball team remained at No. 2 in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional rankings, released Wednesday. The Greyhounds (23-3), who wrapped up the regular season last week with a 109-102 win at Saint Joseph's, start postseason play at the GLVC Championship Tournament Friday.
The top three teams remained static, as GLVC West Division-champ Drury held on to the top spot, followed by UIndy and Lake Superior State. Southern Indiana leapfrogged two slots to No. 4, with Findlay, Michigan Tech, Wisconsin-Parkside and Lewis rounding out the all-important top eight.

Only eight schools from each of the country's eight regions will make the NCAA Tournament when the field is announced this weekend. "Selection Sunday" comes Mar. 9 when the 64-team field will be announced on NCAA.com at 10:30 p.m. The Midwest Regional starts Mar. 15, with the No. 1 seed playing as host.
