ON TAPIn their first-ever regional final appearance, the 3-seeded Greyhounds will face archrival Bellarmine for the right to go the Division II Elite Eight. The top-seeded Knights will host the Hounds in Louisville, Ky., Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET. See above for all the ways to follow the action.
VIEWING PARTYIf you can't make it to Louisville this weekend, watch the game with other Greyhounds fans at the Buffalo Wild Wings at 8020 US 31 in Greenwood. The private dinning section at the restaurant will be reserved for UIndy fans, with the game being displayed on multiple screens. The Greyhound Club will provide free soft drinks and appetizers.
GREYHOUNDS vs. KNIGHTSSeparated by just 114 miles and a quick drive down I-65, UIndy versus Bellarmine has become one of the biggest rivalries in college basketball in recent years. After Tuesday night, the two will have met a whopping 11 times in the past three seasons, with the Knights owning a slight 6-4 edge over that span.
Tuesday also brings the fourth NCAA regional match-up in the last five seasons. Bellarmine eliminated the Greyhounds from the postseason in 2011 and 2013, but the Hounds bounced BU in last year's first round with an 80-75 win.
With both teams ranked in the top five back in January, UIndy handed Bellarmine a 66-62 defeat in Nicoson Hall. Since then the Knights have wins of 73-65 and 81-73, with the latter coming on a neutral court in the GLVC Tournament semifinals.
The teams do lot of the same things well. Below is a glimpse at where UIndy and Bellarmine rank nationally in select statistical categories.

Overall, Bellarmine is the second-most-frequent opponent for UIndy among current GLVC teams, as only Saint Joseph's (101 games) has faced the Hounds more often. Bellarmine holds a 52-44 (.541) edge in the all-time series.
ABOUT BELLARMINEThe Knights (29-3) advanced to Tuesday's final with a pair of convincing victories versus NCAA Tournament opponents. Bellarmine avenged a GLVC Championship game loss to Drury with an 84-60 win versus the Panthers in the first round, then followed with an 85-59 rout of Lake Superior State in the regional semis. Drury was forced to commit 21 turnovers while LSSU was held to a paltry 33 percent from the field.
While UIndy is making its first-ever appearance in the regional final, the Knights are primed for their fifth such appearance since 2009. The Knights fell to Findlay and Drury in the 2009 and 2013 regional final, respectively, but went on to Final Four appearances in 2011 and '12, winning the D-II national championship in 2011.
The Knights' roster sports a number of weapons, including GLVC Player of the Year Jake Thelen (18.3 ppg, 10.4 rpg). The senior forward ranks third in Division II in field goal percentage (.661) and seventh in double-doubles (16).
HOUNDS AT THE NCAAsUIndy is making its fifth consecutive postseason appearance and 10th overall. The Hounds are 5-9 all-time at the NCAAs, with Tuesday marking their first appearance in the regional finals (aka "Sweet 16"). UIndy is 4-4 at the NCAA Tournament under
Stan Gouard.
MIDWEST SUCCESSThe Midwest Region has produced three of the last six national champions, including Drury (2013), Bellarmine (2011) and Findlay (2009). Meanwhile, Drury (2013, 2014) and Bellarmine (2011, 2012) have combined to win each of the last four Midwest Region crowns.
Beside UIndy, Bellarmine is the only other team in the Midwest bracket to garner an NCAA berth in each of the last five seasons.
CHASING HISTORYA win versus Bellarmine would not only secure UIndy its first-ever Elite Eight appearance but also tie the mark for most wins in program history. The Hounds are currently just one victory shy of matching the 26 wins put up by their 1963-64 counterparts, then called Indiana Central College.
NO U-TURNThe Hounds matched a season low by committing six turnovers versus Michigan Tech Saturday. It marked the fourth single-digit turnover game for UIndy this season and first since the nine it had at Southern Indiana Feb. 19. The Greyhounds also had just six turnovers versus McKendree Jan. 22.
GLASS EATERSUIndy dominated Lewis on the boards in Sunday's semifinal, out-rebounding the Flyers 43-28. The margin of +15 was the third-highest of the season for the Hounds while also easily the highest of the six Midwest Regional games played over the weekend.
1,000-POINT CLUBBy knokcing down a pair of free throws just 80 seconds into the Lewis game Sunday, senior
Joe Lawson became the 38th player in program history to score 1,000 career points. Coincidentally, the Indianapolis native also grabbed career rebound No. 500 in the contest, becoming just the 16th Greyhound to reach both statistical plateaus.
CHARITY WORKJunior
Jordan Loyd inked his name in the UIndy record books Sunday by sinking all 16 of his free throw attempts versus Lewis, good for the most ever by a Greyhound without a miss.
As a team, UIndy shattered its record for most free throws made in an postseason game, a record that stood for all of 29 hours. One day after sinking 25 foul shots versus Michigan Tech, the Greyhounds shot an efficient 35-of-41 (.854) from the line against the Flyers.
ASSIST KINGJunior point guard
Lucas Barker recently broke the school's 49-year-old record for most assists in a season, previously held by Vasco Walton since 1965-66. Barker leads the GLVC with 7.7 assists per game, second nationally to only Zach Monaghan (8.1 apg) of Minnesota State.
