KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The Greyhound women's tennis team advanced to the 2015 Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship Tournament finale, via taking a 6-0 win over Missouri-St. Louis in semifinal play Saturday. With the win, UIndy will be making its first GLVC Tournament championship appearance since 2007.

UIndy, the top seed in the East Division, jumped to a 3-0 lead following doubles competition. The Greyhounds' Stephanie Hirsch and Florence Renard, both All-GLVC honorees this season, blanked the Tritons' Lina Parra and Chandler Duchaine 8-0 in the one position, while Allie Smith and Macey Speer bested UMSL's Leanne Cantalupo and Natalia Carvalhais 8-1. Dana Olsen and Brooke Boyts closed out the UIndy doubles sweep with an 8-4 victory over Annie Hays and Renee Verboven.

The Greyhounds took wins at the one-three spots in singles play, with Hirsch defeating Parra 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1. Renard won 6-2, 6-1 over Verboven at No. 2, while Smith defeated Carvalhais 6-1, 6-1 to notch the sixth point.

UIndy will face off with the top seed from the West, Drury in Sunday's championship match, with first serve set for 10 a.m. EST. Drury is last year's GLVC champion, and has won seven of the last eight league championships.
