Â
The eight-team, double-elimination tourney is being held at the Eastside Centre in East Peoria, Ill. Friday through Sunday.

Â
Lalich finished 2-for-3 with an RBI as the only Hound with more than one hit.
Â
Fresh off being named the GLVC Pitcher of the Year less than 24 hours ago, senior
Morgan Foley (36-2) Â earned the win in the circle, limiting the Cardinals to one run on three hits, striking out 12 and walking two. Jewell's only run came with two down in the fourth inning when designated player Nona Pauline found the gap on a 1-2 pitch.
WJC's 3-4-5 hitters combined for the team's only three hits, as the rest of the Cardinal lineup went 0-for-15 at the dish.
