ST. LOUIS – UIndy men's tennis took another step toward its Great Lakes Valley Conference title defense Sunday, defeating Rockhurst 5-0 in the semifinals on the outdoor courts at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center.
After bringing home the championship a season ago – the program's eighth – the 16th-ranked Greyhounds (14-4) remained unblemished in the 2017 tournament by blanking the Hawks (13-7).
They began by crippling the Hawks in doubles, taking an almost insurmountable 3-0 lead after winning all three by 8-4 scores.

Razo capped off the sweep with a lopsided 6-1, 6-1 decision over Ibarra at No. 6 singles, remaining undefeated this season at the position.
UIndy will face No. 17 Drury in Monday's title match at 1 p.m. ET, aiming to win a GLVC-best ninth championship. The Panthers defeated Lewis 5-1 in their semifinal match Sunday, and have beaten UIndy in the GLVC Championship twice before (2014 and 2015), including once at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center (2014).
