KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With a 4-0 start under its belt, the UIndy men's basketball team is ranked No. 22 in the first regular season National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) poll, released Tuesday.
 
The Greyhounds polled at No. 19 in the first set of rankings a season ago.

Regional foes Bellarmine (No. 3), Southern Indiana (No. 13), Ashland (No. 15) and Ferris State (No. 19) also appear in the latest top 25.
 
UIndy has picked up three in-region victories already this season, including a big 95-71 win over Grand Valley State. The Greyhounds shot nearly 53 percent from the field in the win, including 42.9 percent from 3-point range. Trevor Lakes led all scorers with 23 points.
 
After defeating Saginaw Valley and Northwood down in Louisville, Ky. to begin the season, UIndy scathed by upset-minded Elmhurst in the team's home opener last Tuesday evening.
 
Redshirt-senior Jimmy King leads the Greyhounds with 15.8 points/game and 6.3 assists/game, while Lakes paces the squad on the boards with 7.5 rebounds/game.
 
UIndy is back in action this weekend with another pair of region contests, first with Ohio Dominican on Friday evening on the campus of Cedarville, Ohio.
