INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Head football coach Joe Polizzi and his staff have signed 14 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent to join the Greyhounds in the fall of 2009.  The newcomers will join a Greyhound squad that finished 5-6 (4-6 GLIAC) last season.

The group includes eight native Hoosiers and six more from neighboring Illinois.  Also included in next year's roster is current men's basketbal player Paul Corsaro, who transferred from Youngstown State at the semester break.  Additional signees are expected through the end of the signing period which commences April 1.

The Greyhounds have announced their 2009 schedule as well.  The Hounds will host six home games next season, beginning with the lone non-conference game vs. Kentucky Wesleyan on Thur., Aug. 27.  The schedule opens with three straight home games:  KWC, Grand Valley State (Sep. 5) and Wayne State (Sep. 12).
