Hounds attain highest-ever AFCA ranking

WACO, Texas – The UIndy football team set a new school by record earning the No. 11 ranking in this week's American Football Coaches Association Division II Top 25 Poll.  The program's previous high position was No. 12, set in week two of this season.

The AFCA release marked the 14th consecutive appearance for UIndy in the national poll dating back to last season.  The Greyhounds, who are a perfect 9-0 versus D-II opponents this season, clinched a share of the Great Lakes Valley Conference title with a 33-7 win against visiting Quincy last Saturday.

UIndy should all but cement a playoff berth with a victory this weekend; the Hounds host GLVC-newcomer Truman State Saturday, Nov. 16 in both teams' regular-season finale.  Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m. Eastern.
