Greyhounds vault to No. 13 in coaches' poll

WACO, Texas – The UIndy football team matched its biggest leap ever in the American Football Coaches Association Division II Top 25 Poll, climbing five spots to No. 13.  The Greyhounds (8-1, 5-0 GLVC) pulled out a 27-24 win at in-state rival Saint Joseph's last weekend to win their sixth straight decision.

The latest AFCA release marked the 13th consecutive appearance for UIndy in the national poll dating back to last season.  The Hounds are a perfect 7-0 versus D-II opponents and are one of only two teams (Truman) still unbeaten in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.  Their No. 13 position is one spot shy of matching the program's highest-ever AFCA ranking -- No. 12 in week two of this season.

UIndy finishes the regular season with two home games, starting with a match-up agianst the Quincy Hawks Saturday, Nov. 9.  Kickoff from Key Stadium is scheduled for 6 p.m.
