INDIANAPOLIS - The University of Indianapolis football coaching staff announced its 2013 recruiting class Wednesday.  Head Coach Bob Bartolomeo and his assistants will welcome 19 incoming freshmen to the program this fall, including four from the Indianapolis metro area.
 
UIndy's incoming class includes 14 student-athletes from the Hoosier State, three from Illinois and one each from Kentucky and Missouri.  Players from the Indianapolis area include Rob Dury from 3A state-champ Bishop Chatard, Danny Murray from Guerin Catholic, Matt Sinclair from Carmel and Malcom Fogle from Ben Davis.

The new additions will be joining a team that finished the 2012 season ranked 15th in the final American Football Coaches Association Division II Poll.  Last year's club not only recorded a program-record 10 wins and a Great Lakes Valley Conference championship, but also earned its first-ever Division II playoff berth.  UIndy's postseason run included a 31-14 first-round win versus No. 8 Midwestern State before enduring a loss at top-ranked Colorado State-Pueblo a week later.
