KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After notching a pair of conference wins last week, the UIndy men's basketball team (11-1, 3-1 GLVC) leapfrogged five spots to No. 14 in the latest NABC/Division II Top 25 Poll. The ranking represents a season high for the Greyhounds and is their highest since being ranked 12th in mid-February of last year.
The Hounds have received votes in seven consecutive polls and have now been in the top 25 for the last five. Joining them in the rankings are fellow-GLVC-members Bellarmine (No. 2), Drury (7), Southern Indiana (10) and Lewis (23). The GLVC's five ranked teams are the most for any Division II conference.
In addition, UIndy is one of just five D-II schools with both its men's and women's teams ranked in their respective coackes' polls. The Greyhound women are also
ranked 14th.
