INDIANAPOLIS  – It's National Signing Day and the UIndy football team is joining programs all over the country in proudly announcing their newest recruiting class Wednesday. Head Coach
Bob Bartolomeo and his assistants will welcome 29 incoming freshmen (and counting) to the program this fall, including 13 signees.

Ten of the 13 signees hail from the state of Indiana, including Indiana Football Coaches Association Top 50 honorees Joe Lambright (LB, Leo), Alex Neligh (QB, New Palestine) and Rondell Weathers (DL, Arsenal Tech HS).

Joining Neligh and Weathers as signees from the Indy metro area are Kyle Ball (OL, Perry Meridian HS), Aaron Matio (WR, Hamilton Southeastern HS) and Matt Thompson (LB, Avon)., with all three sporting All-State accolades from the Associated Press.

Other Indiana signees include Malik Bramley (WR, Snider HS), Wally Dahlkamp (DL, Lake Central HS), Trey Jackson (DB, New Haven HS) and Alex Parsons (LB, North Montgomery HS).

Rounding out the signees are out-of-state additions Mike Graham (OL, Frankfort, Ill.), Jack Kuerzi (Louisville, Ky.) and Maurice Robinson (Tinley Park, Ill.).

The new recruits will be joining a UIndy team that finished the 2015 season by capturing a fourth consecutive Great Lakes Valley Conference championship and earning an NCAA Division II playoff bid. The Greyhounds have combined to go 39-9 the past four years, including a 10-2 mark last fall.
