BALTIMORE – UIndy senior
Owain Braddock earned USILA All-America Second Team honors for the 2024 season, the organization announced Thursday morning.
In total, five Greyhounds received recognition, with
Trevor Lockwood,
Jack Sullivan,
Justin Williams, and
Adam Wong all listed among the honorable mentions at their respective positions.
Â
Braddock led the Greyhounds with 37 goals this spring, good for the fifth-most in a single season in program history. The East Lansing, Mich., product recorded a career-high seven points in the 15-10 win over Lewis in April, earning his first GLVCÂ
Offensive Player of the Week honor of his career. In total, Braddock recorded six hat tricks this season and ended his career with a three-point performance (two goals, one assist) in the NCAA DII South Region First Round at Limestone.
Â
The freshman Wong joined Lockwood, and Sullivan as part of the tremendous UIndy defense, with the veterans tying for the team lead with 29 caused turnovers. Sullivan also led all non-FOGOs with 77 ground balls with aÂ
program-best 10 scoops against Lewis.
Â
Williams scored 30 goals and finished with 45 points in his lone season as a Greyhound, earningÂ
All-GLVC First Team recognition.
