UIndy Ups Streak to 13 with Win at CSP

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The 12th-ranked UIndy women's lacrosse team (15-1, 11-0 GLIAC) wrapped up a lengthy road trip with a 16-11 win at Concordia-St. Paul (9-5, 6-3) on Saturday afternoon. The result continues the Greyhounds' undefeated run through the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference, upping their conference mark to a perfect 11-0 while also extending their overall win streak to 13.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Coming in leading the nation in scoring margin (17.8 gpg), the Greyhounds battled to earn their closest win of the season and closest win versus a GLIAC school since last year's conference tournament semifinal.

After going down 1-0 on a quick goal from their hosts, the Hounds scored nine of the next 10 tallies to take control, but the Golden Bears scored five unanswered to end the half to trail just 12-9 at the break. They would not get any closer, however, as the UIndy defense surrendered just two goals the entire second half.

Three Greyhounds recorded hat tricks, as Krista Temple, Julia O'Brien and Emily Meyer each scored three goals. Destinie Katz racked up seven assists, while Grace Gunneson amassed four points (2 G, 2 A). Riley McClure and Peyton Romig combined for 14 draw controls.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Hannah Reho set a new season high with a team-high three ground balls.
- Trisha Koning and Romig were credited with two caused turnovers apiece.
- Temple has scored two or more goals in seven consecutive contests, averaging nearly four per game over that span.
- Saturday marked just the second time this season that the Hounds played in a game in which the running clock was not instituted (10 or more goal lead).

UP NEXT
The Hounds conclude the regular season with a trip to Ashland University on Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m. ET.
