The University of Indianapolis currently offers 23 varsity sports. The role of the Office of Sports Information is to coordinate contact between student-athletes, coaches and the department to the media as well as disseminating information to the media and general public via the website. The SID is also responsible for maintaining historical archives for each of the varsity sports, reporting to the conferences and the NCAA, and assisting in promoting the UIndy Athletics department and its teams.

Information on the UIndy Greyhounds is available to members of the media and general public 24 hours a day through the various school and conference Internet websites. The Greyhounds' most up-to-date releases and statistics for many sports may be accessed throughout this website. The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) website is updated with scores, schedules, player of the week honors and statistical updates. Current statistics will be available on UIndyAthletics.com following each athletic event.
GAME SERVICES
Record books, lineups, statistics, standings and game notes are available by request at all home baseball, basketball, football, softball and soccer games to accredited media representatives and scouts at press row (basketball) and in the press box (football, baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse). Access to press row and press boxes at Key Stadium, Greyhound Park, Baumgartner Field and Nicoson Hall are available by request for properly-credentialed individuals only.
For basketball games, quick stats are provided to broadcasters during timeouts. At football and basketball, NCAA box scores are distributed at halftime with a complete NCAA final box score and play-by-play available after the game in the press area. Refreshments and light meal will also be furnished in the press box for the media prior to each football game.
INTERVIEWS
All requests for interviews with student-athletes, coaches or administrators should be made through the Sports Information Office (317-788-3494). Media outlets wishing to shoot practices should also inquire with the SID office for times and availability.
Greyhound student-athletes are unavailable for interviews on game day until after the contest.
Greyhound coaches and players will be available for post-game interviews following a brief cool-off period.
WORKING CREDENTIALS
Working press and photography credential applications for all home and road football and basketball games must be made prior to game day with the UIndy Sports Information Office. Please contact the appropriate sports information contact via email and include name(s) for the passes, affiliation, press or photo and type and date of the event.
Press row for basketball is located on the main floor of the arena, just behind the team benches in Nicoson Hall. Seating is limited to working media, professional scouts, and accredited school officials. Requests from television stations for highlight cameras will be granted space in football and basketball games on a first-come, first-serve basis. In the case of televised games, all efforts will be made to give the production crew access to prime locations for the broadcast.
BASKETBALL & FOOTBALL BROADCASTS
The Sports Information Office has installed two permanent telephone lines at Nicoson Hall and one at Key Stadium that are made available to visiting radio stations. To arrange for their use or for additional phone lines for broadcasts, please contact the Sports Information Office in advance of game day for arrangements.
PARKING
Parking will be in the lot directly East of Nicoson Hall and South of Key Stadium for accredited media representatives for basketball games. Proper identification is needed for admission to this parking lot. More information about facilities or directions are available on this website under "Facilities" or "Directions"
The media lot at Football is located north of Key Stadium off of State Street.
