Our mission is to provide high-quality, comprehensive and compassionate healthcare for all Greyhound student-athletes. The sports medicine program is composed of the team physicians, athletic trainers and support services such as physical therapists, a team dietitian and neuropsychologist. To meet the healthcare needs of the student-athlete, the Sports Medicine program is complemented by other local hospital-based physicians in all specialties around the Indianapolis area. UIndy is notably proud of the relationship enjoyed with Community Health Network and team physicians Dr. Jacklyn Kiefer, Dr. Daniel Ordaz and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Evan Armington.

The University of Indianapolis maintains three athletic training facilities to meet the student-athletes’ needs. Two facilities are located in the lower level of the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center and the other is located in the Athletics & Recreation Center.

The Greyhound athletic training facilities are staffed by nine certified athletic trainers, all licensed healthcare providers in the state of Indiana.
Each healthcare facility featured state of the art equipment specifically for the treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
