GAINESVILLE, Ga.—The UIndy women's golf team continued play at the 2022 NCAA DII Championships Wednesday. Led by a second-round 72 by freshman
Anci Dy, the Greyhounds sit at +38 through 36 holes. The top eight teams after Thursday's third round move on to the medal/match quarterfinals. UIndy is currently in 13th place, nine strokes back of an advancing spot.
Making her Nationals debut, Dy shot even-par golf on Wednesday, thanks in part to a hot start. She began the day with eight straight pars, followed by a birdie on the par-four ninth.
For the tournament, Dy is currently tied with teammate
Katelyn Skinner at 39th place. Skinner went 74-78 in the first two rounds to match Dy at +8.
Both
Elyse Stasil and
Maggie Schaffer shot a 77 Wednesday. Stasil is now at +11 to move to T-55, while Schaffer (+13) climbed eight spots to T-65.
Catharina Graf (+15) carded an 81 today to drop to T-79.
The third and final round of stroke play awaits the 18-team field on Thursday. The Greyhounds' tee times start at 9:20 a.m. ET.
TUESDAY
The Greyhounds combined for a first-round team score of 310, putting them in a tie for 13th place with 36 holes of stroke play to go.
Junior
Katelyn Skinner led the way Tuesday, carding a two-over 74 to tie for 16th place among the nation's best. She highlighted her round with four birdies on the front nine, including three in a row on four, five and six.

Elyse Stasil shot matching 78s to share 56th. Both
