INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 8-ranked University of Indianapolis women's lacrosse team took down the Walsh Cavaliers on Saturday afternoon in the team's home opener at Key Stadium by a final of 15-9. With the win, the Hounds have now won 19-straight games dating back to last season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hounds raced out to a 4-1 lead to open the game with the help of a pair of goals from Malcolm. Despite Walsh producing two unanswered goals to trim its deficit down to one, the Greyhounds rattled off three unanswered in return to help take an 8-4 lead into the intermission.
Out of the locker room, both teams continued to fight for the upper hand as play progressed at Key Stadium. With the score sitting at 9-7 in favor of UIndy late in the third, the Hounds finally added breathing room with a 4-0 scoring run. A late push by the Cavaliers was not enough to chip into the deficit at hand.
