INDIANAPOLIS—Gunning for its 17th consecutive trip to the NCAA postseason, the UIndy women's golf team was among 17 teams on the initial set of NCAA DII East Regional rankings, released Friday. The teams were listed in alphabetical order for this first release, with actual rankings coming in future ranking releases.

Just 15 teams will earn a place in the upcoming NCAA DII East Super Regional, with the announcement of the field set for Monday, April 29. Under the guidance of head coach Brent Nicoson, UIndy has captured eight of the last 11 super region titles. This year's regional will be hosted by UIndy at nearby Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, Ind., on May 6-8.
