ON TAP
Already owners of a share of the Great Lakes Valley Conference title, the Greyhounds look to win it outright Saturday when they travel to Urbana for the regular-season finale.
GO GREYHOUND
In addition to catching the Hounds on the normal channels (links above), UIndy fans have the opportunity this week to ride to the game in style. With room for just 26 people, the Greyhound Club is sponsoring a chartered bus to the Urbana game. The trip will include a game ticket, as well food and beverages, which will be provided both ways of the trip.
The bus will depart 8 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10 from the Nicoson Hall and should return no later than 6 p.m. Cost is free to Greyhound Club donors and just $10 for non-donors. Contact Janel Chittum at chittumj@uindy.edu or call 317-788-8565 to reserve your spot.
If you miss out on the chartered trip, another UIndy fan bus will be making the two-and-a-half hour trek to Urbana Saturday. Tweet

A STITCH IN TIME...
Not only would a win give the Hounds their first conference title since winning the Heartland Collegiate Conference crown in 1981, it would also secure the team's first-ever nine-win season. In its 74-year history of playing football, UIndy has recorded five eight-win seasons (not counting this season), but never a nine-win campaign.

ABOUT URBANA
The Blue Knights come into the weekend with a solid 5-2 conference mark, good for third in the league standings. They are a perfect 5-0 at home this year and 9-1 at Urbana University Stadium over the past two seasons.
Urbana sports the GLVC's most-prolific offensive attack, ranking first in the conference in total offense (476.5 ypg) and passing offense (293.5 ypg) and second in rushing offense (183.0 ypg).
Junior quarterback DJ Mendenhall tops the GLVC in passing yards per game (293.5 ypg), while senior running back Jeffvon Gill ranks second in rushing (93.4 ypg).
Junior wide receiver Joe Webb was named the GLVC Offensive Player of the Week Monday after amassing six catches for 195 yards and two touchdowns in last weekend's
53-7 rout of William Jewell.
HOUNDS vs. BLUE KNIGHTS
As is the case with eight of UIndy's opponents this year, Saturday marks the first-ever meeting between the Hounds and Urbana.
LAST TIME OUT
The Greyhounds got one step closer to a playoff berth last Saturday night with a gutsy
33-18 win against visiting Delta State. UIndy limited an athletic Statesmen squad to just 249 total yards – nearly 150 yards below their average.
With the Hounds on defense and up just eight points in the fourth quarter, the turning point came when cornerback
Nick Wehby forced and recovered a DSU fumble. The ensuing drive saw UIndy convert a 4th & 1 with a 37-yard pass play to tight end
Adam Knies, one play before in a one-yard TD run by
Klay Fiechter.
PLAYOFF PICTURE
Despite Saturday's win, UIndy fell one slot to No. 5 in this week's
NCAA Division II Super Region #4 poll. The top three teams stayed put, but Midwestern State jumped from eighth to fourth, nudging the Greyhounds down a spot.
Though the Delta State win was a big one for UIndy, Midwestern State's thrilling 52-48 victory against regional-ranked West Texas A&M last weekend went a long way in helping the Mustangs climb four spots.
Colorado State-Pueblo and Ashland traded places for the second straight week, with CSU-Pueblo retaking the No. 1 position. Saginaw Valley State dropped from sixth to 10th after a five-point loss at Northern Michigan.
Just six teams from each region will advance to the 24-team NCAA D-II Championships. The annual tournament will begin on campus sites Nov. 17. The opening round will feature the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds hosting games versus the sixth- and fifth-seeded squads, respectively, while the top two teams will receive byes.
The Greyhounds are looking for their first postseason appearance since joining Division II back in 1979. They last made the NCAA playoffs as a D-III squad in 1975. This year's pairings will be announced Sunday evening at 5 p.m. on NCAA.com.
POLL POSITION
In addition to its appearance in the regional poll this week, UIndy made its first-ever showing in the
American Football Coaches Association Division II Top 25 Poll. The Greyhounds, who sat just one spot out of the top 25 last week, debuted at No. 19 in this week's release.
Eight of the bottom 15 teams lost last weekend, opening the door for four new teams to enter the poll. Like UIndy, GLVC-rival Missouri S&T (9-1) also made its first-ever AFCA poll appearance, coming in at No. 20.
STREAKIN'
The Greyhounds, who haven't lost a football game in two months, head into the weekend as winners of eight in a row, matching the program's second-longest winning streak, which spanned the 1998 and '99 seasons.
The program record for longest win streak is 12, set in 1953-54. Including a pair of ties, the Greyhounds went unbeaten in 13 straight games spanning the 1984 and '85 seasons.
RECORD DEAL
Klay Fiechter continued his record-breaking pace last week, rushing for 112 yards and three touchdowns. The performance upped his 2012 total to 1,343 yards to set a new school mark for rushing yards in a season.
Fiechter came into the week needing 94 yards to snap the previous record, and late in the game it looked as through Craig Jenkins' mark (1324, 2008) stand another week. Fiechter busted out a 61-yard touchdown run with two-plus minutes left, however, to snap the record as well seal the win.
Two other major single-season records are in serious danger this week, as senior wideout
Mar'quone Edmonds needs just five catches and 49 yards to set a new school standards for receptions and receiving yards in a season.
