HIGHLIGHTS
Softball (42-3, 23-3 GLVC)
- After sweeping Urbana and splitting with Maryville earlier in the week, the top-ranked Greyhounds made the trip to St. Louis for a much anticipated clash with Missouri-St. Louis. In a meeting of a pair of Division II's most decorated pitchers, Morgan Foley got the best of UMSL's Hannah Perryman in game one 3-2, before dropping game two 2-1.
- Foley (31-2) became the fourth pitcher in D-II history to surpass 1,500 career strikeouts in the wins over Urbana, a mark that Perryman had already eclipsed earlier in the year. Sunday's meeting between the two pitted the most career strikeouts between any two opposing pitchers in history.
- The senior struck out 18 to earn the win in game one against UMSL, getting help from Jessie Noone, whose three-run double in the sixth gave Foley all the cushion she'd need.

Baseball (25-10, 11-5 GLVC)
- UIndy won four of five last week, beating Maryville 10-5 Wednesday, before taking three of four from Wisconsin-Parkside over the weekend.
- Senior Matt Kaplanis moved to 8-0 on the year, striking out a career-high ten batters over six innings to secure an 11-4 win in game one against Parkside. UIndy would put up another 11-spot in game two en route to an 11-1 win.
- Parkside shut down the Greyhound bats in game one Sunday, allowing just two hits and shutting out the Hounds, 3-0. UIndy bounced back with eight hits in game two, and Parkside committed six errors to help secure the series victory for UIndy.

Track and Field
- At the historic Mt. SAC Relays outside Los Angeles, Calif., UIndy had a landmark showing, with three different Hounds setting a school records.
- Senior Alex Cushman broke his own school mark (30:02) in the 10,000 meter run by nearly thirty seconds (29:36.61), placing him within the top-ten times in D-II.
- Fellow senior Emily Odle broke Erin Webb's standing mark in the women's 10,000 meter with a time of 36:11.85. Sophomore Kieran Casey continue an already established season by breaking a 15-year-old school best time in the 1,500 meter (4:27.06). The time is also food for the top NCAA D-II Provisional mark.

Men's Tennis (12-2, 4-0 GLVC)
- The 19th-ranked Greyhounds upped their win streak to six with a 9-0 sweep of Bellarmine on Saturday, their 16th straight over a GLVC opponent.
- Senior Luke Hubert earned his 79th career singles victory with a straight set win in the third spot. The win moves Hubert to within one of the all-time singles mark in program history, and the senior will have a shot to break the record at Senior Day next Saturday.

Women's Tennis (10-6, 3-1 GLVC)
- UIndy bounced back from their first conference loss in two seasons with an 8-1 win over Bellarmine.
- The 27th ranked Greyhounds recently found themselves ranked second in the inaugural NCAA Midwest Regional polls. With a strong finish to the season, both tennis teams will have a solid shot to host the NCAA Regional, with the men already holding the number one spot in the men's poll.

Women's Lacrosse (6-8, 4-5 GLIAC)
- In a weekend featuring two critical conference games, UIndy opened with a 19-10 over Walsh, before losing to Lake Erie in a defensive struggle, 5-4.
- Freshman Sydney Hauffman netted a career-high five goals in Friday's win, while Hannah Burczyk, Chalane Morrison and Hana Priddy all tallied hat tricks.
- Lake Erie was able to shutout the Greyhound attack for nearly 45 minutes, and a late surge from the Hounds came up just short of overcoming the early offensive struggles.

Men's Lacrosse (7-4, 4-2 ECAC)
- A showdown of two ranked teams ended with the No. 18 Greyhounds on the wrong end of a 9-7 decision to tenth-ranked Seton Hill.
- UIndy held a 7-3 lead going into the fourth quarter, but the Griffins strung together sixth straight goals and held the Hounds scoreless in the final 15 minutes. Jimmy Smith and Matthew Johnson each scored a pair of goals.

#ALPHADOG OF THE WEEK
13830Morgan Foley, Senior, Louisville, Ky. (softball)

The accolades continue to pile for the senior pitcher. In a 17 strikeout performance in Thursday's 9-1 win over Urbana, Foley became just the fourth pitcher in Division II history to amass 1,500 career strikeouts. At the time, the Louisville native sat fourth all-time, 90 K's behind Missouri-St. Louis' Hannah Perryman.

The two squared off in a highly anticipated clash Sunday, where Foley out-dueled her All-American counterpart, striking out 18 while allowing just two walks and one hit, a two-run homer. On the year, Foley (31-2) is now third in the country in wins, third in strikeouts (351), first in strikeouts per seven innings (13.4), and fifth in ERA (0.65).

MOMENT OF THE WEEK
Every spring, thousands of the nation's top high school and collegiate runners flock to Southern California for the annual Mt. SAC Relays at Mount San Antonio College. The yearly meet attracts 15,000 athletes a year, and past participants include U.S. Track and Field greats such as Carl Lewis, Marion Jones and Allen Johnson.

UIndy sent five of their top distance runners to California, more than holding their own at the historic meet. Kieran Casey, Emily Odle and Alex Cushman all broke school records, while Kameron Casey and Joel Keller also had strong performances with NCAA Provisional Qualifying marks in their respective meets.
