Ryan Smith is the March male Athlete of the Month, after winning the program's first National Championship since 2003-04 in the shot put at the 2013 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships. Smith is now a five-time All-American, and also took second place in the weight throw at the meet Mar. 7-9 in Birmingham, Ala.
