The #3 ranked wrestler nationally at 125 for most of the month, Johns is now a two-time Little State and a two-time Midwest Classic champion, with his MWC title helping UIndy to a second place finish, the Greyhounds' best finish at the event in more than a decade. Johns was named the Michael O. Horton Most Outstanding Wrestler at the event, becoming the first UIndy wrestler since 2008 to earn the honor. He is now a three-time UIndy Student-Athlete of the Month.
