Zhurlavleva closed out her indoor season with All-American honors at the 2014 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships in the shot put, finishing eighth. She also qualified in the weight throw for the Hounds, taking 16th.

The Greyhound senior also won the GLVC indoor shot put title, and was second in the weight. She has continued her success into the outdoor segment of the season, already acheiving two NCAA automatic qualifying marks in the discus and the shot put. Her discus mark currently stands as best in the nation.
