The November Female Student-Athlete of the Month, Hefferan averaged 4.06 kills and 3.41 digs per set to lead UIndy to its third GLVC championship in school history and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament Midwest Regional final for the third year in a row. She was named First Team All-GLVC, AVCA and Daktronics First Team All-Region and AVCA Second Team All-American.
