Entering her seventh season at the helm in 2021, Holly Cox continues to guide the UIndy women's soccer program to new heights after two extremely successful seasons.

The season also brought honors upon the Hounds, with Cox's coaching leading to a GLVC Defensive Player of the Year, two GLVC first team mentions, along with a second and third team. Her coaching also brought out the Hounds best in the classroom with the Greyhounds earning the second highest GPA (3.79) across all UIndy teams and earning Team Academic All-GLVC.

After being picked to finish 10th in the GLVC preseason coaches poll, Cox and her Hounds proved everyone wrong in 2019. Boasting a 13-4-1 record after finishing just above .500 the year before, UIndy just missed out on the conference regular season crown before earning the No. 2 seed in the GLVC Tournament. The huge turnaround earned Cox the 2019 GLVC Coach of the Year award as voted on by her peers, the first coach in program history to earn the award. The Hounds went on to secure the No. 7 seed in the NCAA Midwest Regional, hitting the road to Findlay, Ohio, for their first NCAA tournament appearance since 2009. Playing the underdog role continued to suit the team well, as the Hounds completed a first-round upset over No. 2 seed Walsh before coming back days later to upset third-seeded and host team Walsh, 1-0. The results put the team in the "Sweet 16" for just the second time in program history.

Despite missing the GLVC Tournament in 2018, the Greyhounds still finished their season with a winning record of  9-7-2. The Hounds started the year off with a 5-1 record with their lone loss coming to one of the region's best team in Ferris State at the UIndy Invitational. Cox earned her first head coaching win on Sept. 6, 2015, when the Greyhounds rallied to score a pair of second half goals to come back and knock off Lake Erie, 2-1.
