FORT WAYNE, Ind. - For the fourth consecutive match, the University of Indianapolis volleyball squad (15-4, 6-1 GLVC) was victorious, handily defeating the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) by scores of 30-25, 30-20, and 30-20. UIndy has yet to lose to the Cougars, compiling a 9-0 record all-time.
Sophomore
Alyssa Carlotta led the Hounds with 12 kills on 26 attempts. Lynne Ross killed eight balls with a .438 hitting percentage, also adding three blocks. The senior is only four total blocks short of 500 for her career.
Freshman
Kyleigh Turner and sophomore Cassie Schott headed the Greyhound defense with 15 and 12 digs, respectively.
The Hounds return to conference play as they host Wisconsin-Parkside at 7 p.m. on Friday night and Lewis at 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon, both at the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center.
