LOUISVILLE, Ky.-  Justin Barnard's game-tying three-pointer and DeAndre Brock's free throws with 2.2 seconds left propelled visiting Indianapolis to a 66-64 win over Bellarmine on Saturday night.  The late-game heroics keep UIndy in a tie atop the Great Lakes Valley Conference East division standings.

Trailing by four with 1:30 to play, Scott Strahm hit a triple to slice it to one.  Marcus Flynn answered for the Knights with :36 left to push the lead back to three.  Justin Barnard (pictured) then buried a clutch three to tie it and a turnover allowed UIndy the opportunity to go for the win.  Brock was fouled in his drive to the lane on the next possession, giving him a pair of free throws.  The junior knocked down both and the Hounds averted a last-second full-court pass to take the win.

Despite being outshot and trailing in the rebounding battle, the Hounds pulled out its third conference road win of the season.  The Greyhounds led 34-32 at the half in a game that featured 10 lead changes and seven ties.

Justin Barnard led all scorers with his 18 points, including a perfect 6-for-6 effort from the free throw line.  Brock added 16 points and a game-high 11 rebounds for Indianapolis.

UIndy (11-7, 7-4) will play its next three games at home, beginning with a Thursday meeting with Lewis University.  Tip time is slated for 7:30 p.m. from Nicoson Hall.

Notes:  The Greyhounds turned the ball over just seven times in the game, the lowest team total since a Jan. 14, 2006 loss to Rockhurst (71-64) last season (31 games) ... Either Justin Barnard or Brock has led the team in scoring in every game but one this year (Nov. 21) ... Brock's 11 rebounds marked a new UIndy career high, besting his previous high of eight set back on Jan. 6 ... The Hounds are 7-2 this season in games decided by five points or less (2-10 last season).
