Box score

QUINCY, Ill. - Despite a season-low .140 hitting percentage, the 20th-ranked University of Indianapolis volleyball team needed the minimum three games to defeat Quincy, 30-25, 30-27. 32-30, at Pepsi Arena Thursday night.  The Greyhound backline stepped up with a three-game season high of 84 team digs, led by Lyndsay Callahan's 25.  With the win, UIndy (18-1, 9-0 GLVC) upped its program-record winning streak to 15 matches, while the Lady Hawk’s record falls to 13-8 overall and 3-6 in the conference.

Callahan's dig total marked a personal best for the freshman and was also the highest total in a three-game match by a non-libero in recent history*. The Chicago native added nine kills on 32 attack attempts.

Two other Hounds reached double-digits in digs as sophomore Kyleigh Turner scooped 21 and junior Ashley Fallos contributed 10.

Offensively, UIndy was led by senior Casey Chrzastowski and freshman Cheneta Morrison.  Chrzastowski garnered team highs in kills (14) and attack attempts (45) while Morrison killed 13 balls on 36 attempts.

Setter Beth Robbins entered the match eight in the national in assists per game.  The junior tallied 37 helpers, nine digs and a block assist in the win.

The East-Division-leading Hounds continue play versus their western counterparts as they battle Missouri-St. Louis on Friday night and Missouri-Rolla on Saturday afternoon.  Friday's match at UMSL is scheduled to start at 8 pm ET.
