KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The University of Indianapolis women’s tennis team opened its spring trip to Florida with an impressive shutout win over Bentley College on Sunday. The Greyhounds took all nine matches, including a 8-4 win by the No. 1 doubles team of
Megan Farley (pictured) and
Ashley Liles.
In singles action, UIndy had little trouble with the Falcons, as all six matches were won in straight sets.
Lindsey Fischer won 6-2 & 6-1 over Heather Haggerty in the No. 1 slot while No. 2 singles player Ashley Liles took her match 6-1 & 6-0 over Kelly Fleszar.
The Hounds continue play in the Sunshine State as they travel to Melbourne on Mar. 12 to take on Florida Tech.
