Greyhounds keep clean GLVC record

Two-goal night from Fishback leads to 2-1 UIndy victory

Brian Fishback scored his seventh and eighth goals of the season en route to a UIndy win.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Brian Fishback (pictured) scored a pair of goals to lead the Greyhounds to a 2-1 overtime victory against Drury at Key Stadium. UIndy runs its record to 8-1-1 on the season with the win, and stays a perfect 4-0-0 in the GLVC. Drury falls to 6-3-0, 2-3-0 in GLVC play.

Fishback scored the first of his goals in the 46th minute, off of a penalty kick. Drury's Marco Cherisma answered back in the 70th minute with an unassisted score.

The game was sent into overtime with neither team able to score again in the second period. Fishback ended the game with a goal in the 98th minute of play off of a diagonal pass from Diego Lemus. The goals were Fishback's seventh and eighth of the year, and he has now scored in his last five games.

UIndy led the shots battle, taking 13 to Drury's seven. The teams tied with six corner kicks apiece.

Matt Spaulding earned the win in goal for the Hounds, making three saves in his complete game effort.

The Hounds take to the Key Stadium field again Sunday, hosting Rockhurst in a 2:30 contest.
