INDIANAPOLIS-  Northern Kentucky University held the Greyhounds to just 28 percent shooting in the second half in taking a 74-59 win at Nicoson Hall Thursday night.  NKU (10-2, 4-1 GLVC) rattled off 16 of the first 20 points of the second half to springboard a four-point cushion to a healthy lead that grew to as many as 19.

The Norse were efficient in the opening stanza, connecting on 14-of-23, including 5-of-10 from the three-point line.  NKU took the lead for good early in the first half with the Greyhounds battling, but never able to overcome the deficit.

The lead shrunk to two on a triple from Keith Radcliff late in the first half, but the Hounds could draw no closer, suffering their second straight conference defeat.

Junior Tristan Rogers led the way with a double-double for a depleted Hounds roster which suited just nine players due to illness and injury.  Rogers scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in a game that saw leading scorer DeAndre Brock go 3-for-14 from the field.

Anthony Teague was the main scoring threat for the Norse, scoring on five of his first six triple tries for a game-high 17 ponits.  Harrison Morton added 13 points and eight rebounds, part of four NKU players in double digit scoring.

UIndy (9-4, 3-2) will battle Bellarmine on Saturday night at Nicoson Hall.  The game features the annual "Pack the House" night along with the alumni chili supper.  Tip time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
