KANSAS CITY, Mo.- After dropping the opening set, the 24th-ranked University of Indianapolis volleyball team rebounded to defeat Rockhurst in four at Mason-Halpin Field House Saturday, 22-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-17. Sophomore

The Greyhounds (20-4, 9-2 GLVC) earned a quick 4-0 lead in the first set, but eventually fell 25-22. The UIndy attack connected on just 14% of its attempts while the Hawks hit .345 as a team.
UIndy turned the tables in set two and hit at a .410 clip in a dominating 25-14 win. The Greyhound defense also stiffened by holding the Hawks (13-9, 7-5) to a minuscule .089 percentage.
The Hounds dished out more of the same in the final two sets as a 1-0 deficit in the fourth marked to only time they trailed in the latter half on the match.
Sixteen kills of Morrison’s career-high total came in the final two sets, with eight coming in both the third and fourth frames.
UIndy returns to the Ruth Lilly Center for a mid-week clash against 18th-ranked Lewis Tuesday. The two intra-division rivals met up four times last season, with the Flyers picking up three wins. Start time is scheduled for 7 pm.
