INDIANAPOLIS-

The combination of Barnard and Brock kept the Hounds (14-13, 8-11) in the game early, with the duo collaborating for UIndy’s first 16 points. The Panthers pulled out to a seven point lead, 23-16, halfway through the first half on a bucket by Yannick Murry.
UIndy went cold for just less than five minutes before a Jackson jumper cut the KWC lead to five with 8:30 to play in the first half.
A Jeff Fahnbullah bucket pushed the Panther lead to 10, 28-18, before
Tristan Rogers answered back with a score of his own to bring UIndy within eight.
Brock had 10 of his 19 first half points in the second 10 minutes of the first period to keep the Hounds within a dozen, 44-32, at the break. Fahnbullah answered with 14 points to lead the Panthers, who shot a blistering 55.6 percent in the first half.
KWC took its then-largest lead of the ballgame on its first possession of the second half, with Rodney Edgerson making good on a three-point play to put the Panthers ahead by 15. The Edgerson score kicked off a 10-3 run by KWC to push their advantage to 19, 54-35.
An 13-7 run started by a
Donald Cloutier dunk in the middle of the second half brought the Hounds back within 14, but the Panthers quickly pushed their lead back up to 21 just less than two minutes later.
A dunk by Lorenzo Taylor at the 5:11 mark gave KWC its largest advantage of the contest, putting the Panthers ahead 23, 80-57.
UIndy closed the game on a 17-7 run to bring the final score to 87-74.
