CALIFORNIA, Pa.- With an impressive showing Saturday, the 24th-ranked University of Indianapolis (16-3) completed the PSAC Crossover at Hamer Hall with a spotless 4-0 mark.  UIndy garnered a pair of sweep wins on the event's final day with straight-set victories against Shippensburg (10-9) and Kutztown (10-8).  The highlight came in the first match as junior Kyleigh Turner became the school’s all-time leader in digs.

UIndy 3, Shippensburg 0 (25-17, 25-18, 26-24)
Though Turner entered the match needing just two digs to set the mark, the Muncie, Ind. native did not reach the milestone until the second set, as the Shippenburg offense initially had trouble keeping the ball in play.  But, despite the slow start statistically, Turner finished with 15 digs.

Sophomore Cheneta Morrison compiled a .500 hitting percentage, seven digs and a team-high 16 kills.  Lyndsay Callahan hit a career-high .619 with 13 kills and zero errors.  Senior Beth Robbins notched her seventh double-double of the year with 40 assists and 13 digs.

UIndy 3, Kutztown 0 (25-17, 25-8, 25-6)
In its most dominating performance of the season, UIndy swept an over-matched Kutztown squad in just under an hour.  The Greyhounds’ .390 team hitting percentage marked tits highest of the year, underscored by a .522 effort in the final set.

Freshman Kristina Hefferan led the UIndy offense with 18 kills and a .667 hitting percentage.  Robbins totaled 35 assists and 12 digs while Turner added 13 digs.

Notes:  Turner passed former Greyhound libero Kristin Lay (2002-05) to become the program’s career digs leader…Shippensburg and Kutztown are both members of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Division.
