UIndy 5, Lewis 4
The Hounds once again held off the Flyers for a one-run win in the capper. UIndy was up two heading into the bottom of the seventh, but Lewis loaded the bases with two out. An RBI single pushed the potential tying run to third before the game ended on a harmless groundout to the pitcher.

Â
Though Honkomp would allow three runs the rest of the way, snapping her 22 2/3 innings scoreless streak, she would go on to earn win No. 20 on the year, becoming just the 11th Greyhound to win 20 games in a single season.
Â
Coming into the game with just one hit in her last 15 at bats, senior
Natalie Lalich blasted her team-leading 10th home run of the year with a three-run bomb in the first inning. The Hounds tacked on two more in the third on Honkomp's two-run single. Senior
