CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The UIndy men's basketball team put their perfect 4-0 record and No. 22 ranking on the line Friday night against Ohio Dominican Panthers in the Don Callan Classic. Despite ODU shooting nearly 50% from the floor, the Hounds held on to a 71-69 win to move to 5-0 on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers jumped out to a 10-2 lead early on to force
Stan Gouard to take a timeout and gather his guys. The Hounds rattled off a 9-2 run out of the timeout, as
Jimmy King and
Trevor Lakes each nailed a three as the Hounds fought back. UIndy took the lead with just under four minutes to go in the half, leading by as much as five as they took a 35-32 lead into the break.

Ohio Dominican took a one point lead and eventually tied the game in the early going of the second half. A layup by King with the final half of the second approaching gave the Greyhounds a three point lead as King and his teammates never trailed in the final 12 minutes of play. The Panthers committed some fouls down the stretch after cutting the UIndy lead to just two at one point, but the Hounds shot over 85% from the line in the second half as they beat Ohio Dominican, 71-69.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
-The Greyhounds forced 20 ODU turnovers Friday night. UIndy was efficient when getting those extra possessions, scoring 23 points off Panther turnovers.

Marcus Latham has been a huge contributor off the bench for the Greyhounds over the course of the last week. The Alton, Ill., native went for 18 points Friday night, playing a season-high 33 minutes. It was Latham's third-consecutive game in double-figures.
-Friday night's win was UIndy's second win this season when their opponent shot a better percentage from the field than the Hounds. UIndy made up for it at the free throw line, getting to the charity stripe 22 times compared to ODU's seven attempts.
