SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- The #10 Greyhounds kept their 2019 record perfect with a 7-0 sweep of Northwest Missouri State Saturday afternoon.
UIndy (8-0) took its first win at three doubles, with
Alina Kislitskaya and
Anna Valiaeva taking a 6-2 victory.
Nikol Alexeeva and
Anya Novikova then locked the doubles point for the Hounds with a 6-1 win in the one spot.
Hanna Volikova and
Maja Pindelska completed the doubles sweep with a a 7-5 win at two doubles.
Alexeeva took the second UIndy point with a 6-0, 6-1 win at #2 singles, while Volikova followed with a 6-0, 6-2 win in the one spot. Novikova won 6-1, 6-4 at three singles, with Pindelska taking a 6-1, 6-2 win at four singles. Kislitskaya provided the sixth Greyhound point with a 6-1, 6-1 win at six singles, with Valiaeva closing out the UIndy sweep with a 6-1, 6-3 win in the five singles spot.
UIndy faces a tough test Sunday in the form of 2018 Great Lakes Valley Conference champion Drury.. The Greyhounds face off with the Panthers at 2 p.m.Â
