ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The No. 22 UIndy men's basketball (15-4, 7-4 GLVC) kept the ball rolling on Thursday evening, dropping the host Lewis Flyers (10-9, 5-6 GLVC) to complete the regular-season sweep with a 87-77 win.

Jimmy King led all scorers with 24 points, while
Marcus Latham posted 18 tallies off the bench. Sophomore big man
Jacob Polakovich recorded eight points and nine boards in 13 minutes of action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Senior
Jordache Mavunga began the festivities with a bang on Thursday, drilling his first 3-point attempt to give the Greyhounds an early advantage. That lead would stretch to 10 with under four minutes remaining when
Marcus Latham swished a ball from beyond the arc, giving him 13 before the break.
Â
The Flyers cut it down to one with 49 seconds left, before
Trevor Lakes and King combined to tally the final five points to give the Greyhounds a 44-38 halftime lead.
Â
UIndy forced it in the paint early and often during the second half, feeding Polakovich, who tallied all eight of his points after the break. After attempting just three free throws in the first 20 minutes, the Greyhounds shot 21 times from the charity stripe to eventually put the game out of reach.
Demarre Sims sunk a pair to give UIndy a 16-point lead with under six minutes left to all but seal the road win, as Lewis could only manage to get back within nine before the final buzzer.
